EMventure runs by Ronny Waumans and Magali Alvarez.

Ronny began his career as an outdoor instructor for the Belgian Touring Club in 1982. In 1989 he founded the Belgian outdoor sports centre K&S. Besides the activities in Belgium, Scandinavia always took an important place in K&S. He was active as a canoe guide in Dalsland, Dalarna, Västmanland and Swedish Lapland. During the winter months, he guided dog-sled tours and ski tours in Härjedalen and Dalarna. From1994 till 2019, he worked during the winter months as a wilderness guide in Finnish Lapland.

In 1998, he bought Kröken, a 19th century farm in the highlands of Småland. A year later, EMventure AB was founded and he moved to Sweden.

Magali was born in France where she worked as a teacher until she moved to Sweden. She like to be outdoors but most of all she loves to cook. Mainly with local products, from our own garden, the forest or local farmers.

The company has become one of the most popular canoe centres in Småland.
